It's almost Party time!

The last new product reveal is here! Thank you everyone for your support and amazing comments... especially in flickr land!

This reveal makes me all giddy inside.

I've wanted to make party hats for the longest time, 

but I wanted them to last for generations- 

to be true keepsakes. 

I imagine my little girls wearing them on their birthdays 

and someday their daughters in the future. 

So when I finally found the right sturdy structure, it was craft time!

I had sooooo much fun with these... I hope you will all love them as much as I do!

I have to admit, I'm having a bit of pre-party jitters

but I know it's going to be a magical day!

Teacake

Perhaps a few of you were wondering

"where did the yarn go?"

Well don't you fret I haven't abandoned the sweet cotton candy swirly wirily yarn just yet

Although it crossed my mind when the yarn I use has been mysteriously difficult to find and I have had to resort to buying it online. 

I thought it would be fun to create a new line of cakes for the shop.

This new collection called Teacakes Keepsakes 

are small little cakes perfect for small little figurines. 

Funny how the first set is all in the theme of Easter

I really did not do it intentionally.

I will be adding a few more to the shop soon 

that don't include, bunnies, chicks and other easter critters 

- I promise.

But speaking of Easter

My little shop is starting to fill up with easter inspired Keepsakes!

I just love Easter.

My house has been called the Easter house because of my love for bright pastels.

So I suppose it's only fitting that I love the holiday as I do.

Project Dress Up Week 2 and Sweet Treat Note Cards

Last week was but a blur in my mind. Had I not dressed up and taken pictures I could easily  have forget I had the opportunity to get out of the house at all.

I have been so busy working on new items for my Keepsake Cakes shop and working on the All Dolled Up party that there were days lost entirely to crafting and editing. 

the times I did get out of the house were quite special.

My husband let me tag along one afternoon to the coast for a business call.

We had lunch at the Canary Cafe in Astoria Oregon 

I just fell in love with this little seaside town.

Old Victorian charm, quaint downtown, historic buildings, museums, and a small town vibe.

My hubby also let me stop at a few thrift shops. I found some amazing finds and at small town prices :) I spotted a giant flea market... but Jim said I had to wait until next time.

Luckily next time might actually be this week!

I was told I should be a model this week by some sweet lady. If you all knew me in real life you would laugh as I did. I am just about the most ungraceful thing of two legs. And I'm terrible at properly animating my face. For every good picture you see there were easily 20+ absolutely terrible shots. I was very flattered by the ladies sincerity, and I am not one to be bashful at a compliment - thanks to my husband who taught me the value of acknowledging sweet sentiments.  

& now for the first new product reveal for my Keepsake Cakes Shop

This week I will reveal one new product each day

 up to the Big Party Bash on Saturday!

Each card is especially unique with cupcakes and ice-cream cones made from scratch by me
