Project Dress Up Week 8

Last week was challenging
my hubby AKA my camera man
was out of town and I had to somehow
document my looks on my own.

There is only so much you can capture of yourself
with one arm stretched out as far as it goes.
Hubby and I are going to combine our birthday presents this year
and buy a new camera!
with as many pictures as I take a good camera has become a necessity
I think a tripod is also a must have :)

I wasn't very proud of my outfits this week
they were a bit to safe
and while I hate to admit it
I wore JEANS at-least 3 times...
BAD Chelsea!

I'm dragging a bit this morning,
we got home late last night from another long trip to visit family
we had a good time and there wasn't too mush drama
Thank Goodness
I talked my husband in to letting me go to an estate sale and a few thrift stores
I found some really great treasures and hardly spent a dime
I'll show them off soon!

Well off to work now- have a great Monday!

Extending an Invitation

Don't you just hate when you have big big plans
and then they all seem to fall apart?
That just happened to me :(
See, I was going to put together a really supper terrific party
I mean what could be more fun than a Carnival Soiree Party?
I was going to dress up like a clown, make a carnival theme digital scrap-booking kit
and oh so much more
but dang it all I must take a little trip
so I'll leave you all with the party details
and hopefully you might be able to say hello to everyone for me

When: This Saturday!

Fairytale Party Hats are available in my Lollishop!

Now Go!
Clown Around
Have a grand ol' time!

Hugs~
Chelsea Ann

P.S. I was just visiting some blogs
and saw my old studio featured in Paper Cakes Finds post today!
I bet you can all guess which studio is mine :)

I DO: promise to take Project Dress Up to the extremes!

It all started with a pair of tickets...
for a special night out on the town

And my silly, wonderful...

handsome husband who agreed to play along

As silly as my request was
my wonderful husband agreed to play along in the most
outrageous Project Dress Up yet!

Because
He LOVES Me!

Life is too short not to be silly
And life is defiantly too short to only wear your wedding gown ONCE!

This Project Dress Up meant so much to me
My Jimbob was very sick on our wedding day
and so the festivities ended in the afternoon
this was our second chance to live out the second half
of our wedding day!

And feel oh sooooo
PRETTY!

It was a day full of fun and romance!

A Day full of magic!

I Love You
Jimmy!

and my best pal Alissa too
for sharing the day with us
and capturing all if our silly wonderful moments
Alissa is an amazing artist and a constant source of inspiration for me
You should take a little jog over to her New blog... she has no comments yet :(

P.S. the fun isn't quite over!
You can read a special interview I did all about my "real" wedding .
Lindsay of Things with Wings asked if I could share a bit about how I planned my wedding on a teeny tiny little budget. There are also some photos over there that I have never before shared with you all. :)

Happy Monday Everyone!

Spring Time on Lollipop Lane

Snow melts
Flowers bloom
birds sing
bunnies play

These are all true signs of
SPRING!

Sweet, Soft, Pretty, Pleasant Things

The great Big Black Things that have loomed against the horizon of my life,
threatening to devour me, simply loomed and nothing more.
The things that have really made me miss my train
have always been sweet, soft, pretty, pleasant things
of which I was not in the least afraid.

As I move past my disappointments and hurts
which came back to me so suddenly last week
I realize that life is so wonderful and sweet
and I should not bother with the past
but think fondly of my future
and pursue all things which make me most happy

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

P.S. the mosaic is all lovely pretty things from Lollishop venders
