I DO: promise to take Project Dress Up to the extremes!

It all started with a pair of tickets...
for a special night out on the town

And my silly, wonderful...

handsome husband who agreed to play along

As silly as my request was
my wonderful husband agreed to play along in the most
outrageous Project Dress Up yet!

Because
He LOVES Me!

Life is too short not to be silly
And life is defiantly too short to only wear your wedding gown ONCE!

This Project Dress Up meant so much to me
My Jimbob was very sick on our wedding day
and so the festivities ended in the afternoon
this was our second chance to live out the second half
of our wedding day!

And feel oh sooooo
PRETTY!

It was a day full of fun and romance!

A Day full of magic!

I Love You
Jimmy!

and my best pal Alissa too
for sharing the day with us
and capturing all if our silly wonderful moments
Alissa is an amazing artist and a constant source of inspiration for me
You should take a little jog over to her New blog... she has no comments yet :(

P.S. the fun isn't quite over!
You can read a special interview I did all about my "real" wedding .
Lindsay of Things with Wings asked if I could share a bit about how I planned my wedding on a teeny tiny little budget. There are also some photos over there that I have never before shared with you all. :)

Happy Monday Everyone!

Spring Time on Lollipop Lane

Snow melts
Flowers bloom
birds sing
bunnies play

These are all true signs of
SPRING!

Sweet, Soft, Pretty, Pleasant Things

The great Big Black Things that have loomed against the horizon of my life,
threatening to devour me, simply loomed and nothing more.
The things that have really made me miss my train
have always been sweet, soft, pretty, pleasant things
of which I was not in the least afraid.

As I move past my disappointments and hurts
which came back to me so suddenly last week
I realize that life is so wonderful and sweet
and I should not bother with the past
but think fondly of my future
and pursue all things which make me most happy

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

P.S. the mosaic is all lovely pretty things from Lollishop venders

Uggg the Alarm Clock

Yesterday I started a new job
it's only temporary but it feels
well bitter sweet

I haven't worked for months and months and months
and well I got spoiled.
Time no longer seemed to matter
What time I got out of bed or into bed made no difference

But I will get use to it soon

Not sure about you...
but new situations make me very uncomfortable
The simplest of tasks I fumble up
and the things that come out of my mouth...
oh I hate to even think about it

I get the most anxious about answering the phones
I've always hated phones
So wish me luck because the new job
= PHONE!

My first day was actually pretty okay
My employer who is a family friend
says I can dress like a princess
this is shocking!
and it will take some nerve to dress as I normally do
but at-least Project Dress Up can still go on as it did before

So you're probably wondering what the photos are from?

Well after work I walked over to Anthroplogie
It was a wonderful way to rejuvenate after a long day

All the photographs were taken with my iphone and then edited with picnik

I love visiting this store
It was a constance source of inspiration during my school years

So much eye candy!
What do you do to relax or rejuvenate after a long day at work or with the kiddies?

Up Down and so Happy to be Home

I'm HOME!
Oh I had an
 kind of trip
but I'm so glad I got to visit with my grandparents.
I hadn't seen them in such a long time.
But home is not home anymore
and there is so much I have left behind.
It was a stressful trip to say the least.
I have a lot of emotional baggage
but life is still so sweet and living so far away
AND TIME
helps to heal those painful icky scares!

THANK YOU
everyone who wished me a safe and happy visit...
I received them one by one and they really lifted my weary spirits.

I love this new picture my hubby took of me today.
I love sitting on the counter top... how about you.
It's one of my favorite places to start a conversation or listen to my voice messages.
It's probably a bad habit... but oh-well
I'm holding my favorite cookie jar that my grandmother gave me. I noticed it was missing one day and kind of had a panic attack that she might have already gotten rid of it.
(she's been doing that a lot lately)
But luckily had only made it's way to the basement.
And now it's home with me!

I've finished
I hope these both prove that cuteness comes in more colors than just pink.

I purchased these bright red mushrooms just for this Teacake from Artul Memories

and this preppy little owl just makes me smile.
I imagine he is off to his first day of school.

OH and if you haven't been over to Paper Cakes new blog you are really missing out...
And today you can read an interview about ME!
Thanks Chelsea, You're soooo SWEET!
*Hugs*
