these images are super easy to use and manipulate
the digital scrapbook pages below show just how flexible this kit can be

For you new to digital scrap-booking
don't be intimidated

all you need is photoshop and a bit of patience and determination
If I was to sum up ~ Remember layers are your friend as are the layer affects

A very sweet friend has offered to let me use her button maker sometime soon
So I started playing around with some ideas
Really shows just how versatile this kit can be
would be really fun to use for creating birthday cards and announcements
or decorating a lunchbox with stickers...

Created with fd's Flickr Toys

Creating this kit was especially fun - There is just SO much inspiration out there
I could have gone on and on and filled the kit with 50 or more images
but I have other kits in my mind and I am eager to switch
to a new but equally fun and of coarse vintage inspired theme.

The Circus is coming to town!

OH MY GOSH!!!!!
I can not express how over the top excited I am about my FIRST EVER Digital Kit
it wasn't easy!
In-fact somedays it was like having your tooth
tied to that string that's connected to the doorknob.
Illustrator is a monster hard program to teach yourself
thankfully the principles are very much the same to Auto Cad
so I am picking it up slowly
I can't tell you how many nights I have just starred up at my ceiling racking my brain about how to do this or that
I am sure I do everything quite ridiculously and idiotically wrong
but I promise you this kit has more love
and more thought in it than anything I have ever created before
The 25 piece Circus Party kit will be available next week
just as soon as I figure out some logistics like terms of use and how to send the silly thing
I really really hope you will all LOVE it
I really think I have found something
something I am just crazy passionate about
and hopefully something that I can eek out some type of a little career of!
{HOPE!!!!!!!}

Well I best be off...
I have so much to do and am just so giddy right now I can hardly sit still!
HUGS!

oh p.s. do check out my lovely pal Danielle Thompson's blog ~ She is also working on a Circus themed Digital Kit and has a wonderful post with all this amazing inspiration.

A simpler yet more elegant lifestyle

My most recent adventures will have to wait for I am so tired
I just do not have the energy to edit and comb through all the images
I did have a lovely weekend and I do so kindly thank you for your well wishes
todays post has been rolling around in my mind all day
I am pulled to talk you about two very different things
and yet they play hand in hand that I am trying to bring my thoughts together.

The first: Where do you belong?
Are you happy where you live?
Are you there by choice, by habit, connivence, loyalty, finances...?
I have been thinking a lot about the idea of home
when I was a little girl we lived in a small town
not a cute little town just a small farming community with a Walmart
I hated that town and always imagined myself a city gal
well funny how things change... now I am a young woman dreaming of the country life
looking upon each small town with fondness
My husband who also grew up in the rural country side
shares this dream with me
we frequently brows the real estate ads just dreaming of our perfect little farm
(of coarse it would be a play farm)
both children of farmers there is something deep inside us that longs for the quite pace of the country land the small community lifestyle
I hope we don't dream too long... but life is as it is now and I try my best to enjoy every minute of city life... the convinces and my wonderful urban friends.

Secondly: My perception of Myself
I'm not really sure how to quite say what I want to say.
But as of late I have really been questioning how much I am influenced by our culture
as much as I am my own person
I feel like I am too often led astray
perhaps it is because I have not found my own rhythm in life
I swing from one thing or another
but I should like very very much to be 100% my own person
To be braver and more bold... not caring what my peers might think
and while it might sound silly
I think my fashion is a disgrace!
One day I am all dolled up and the next I'm parading around in my pajama pants all day
and even worse yet I get all tangled up in what is trendy from this day to the next!
I have such an urge to purge a good deal of my wardrobe
and only buy things I really really love
why don't we live by the lifestyles we dream of?
why do we only wear dresses on sundays or "costumes" on holidays
Well give me strength I plan to change my silly ways
and live by my own accord
I want to live a simpler yet more elegant lifestyle
I want my life to be richer and full everyday... not just on "special" holidays

hmmmm Does any of this nonsense mean anything to you?
Well it really doesn't matter... just me letting go of my thought
trying to find meaning in this jumbled up little noggin of mine

Well just for fun I grabbed a few photos form flickr and etsy to show you what I might buy if I had the chance to create a new wardrobe all at once
OH WHAT FUN THAT WOULD BE!!!!!
(click images for the lovely sources)

I love this beautiful skirt most of all!!!!!

well I promise I will have new airstream adventure pictures soon enough
Hope you all had a lovely long weekend and you enjoy the quick week as best you can

hugs~

Yet More Pink and Aqua

Happy Monday to you friends.
I am in such a good mood... been crying a bit here and there
but that is just my silly hormones up to there normal no good.
I am in high spirits perhaps because I am preparing to go on a trip
so this will be my only post this week
I will not be saying where we are going but leave you with a hint
Big Red is Going to See Something Big and Red
in my opinion that is about the easiest puzzle in the world.
Speaking of red... I have dyed my hair again
as you can recall I wasn't that pleased with being a blond
but Strawberry Blond, well that is something completely different.
AND I LOVE IT!

This new photo is from a very special photo-shoot I did with a friend.
I can't wait to show you all the photos... they turned out so well
I have always wanted to take a picture like this one.
I got the idea from the book The Center of Everything by Laura Moriarty.

anywho... I am still at odds with myself about what picture
I should use for the Romantic Homes ad? ugggggg.
I have to decide by Tuesday!
So I thought maybe I should make a few more things...
but yet I still fell lost
I wish I could set up a vote of some sort. hmmmm ...
Perhaps if you all don't mind jumping onto my flickr photos a
nd letting me know which you think would present best
mindful of coarse that the image is going to be very small.

This little house turned out quite cute I think
it's a ice cream polar and even the house looks absolutely edible

And oh yes the easter bunny needs a winter vacation spot does he not?
although I am not so sure he looks that happy up there
"why such a grim little look mr. Bunny"?

I love it most when the houses all sit side by side
such a perfect little vision I get in my mind
of what it would be like to live on Lollipop Lane
and have such lovely neighbors all living in their quint little houses.

Well do take care this week
and be keeping your eye out next week
for many fun posts of my recent adventures.
Hugs~

Pink and Aqua

14. Not available15. Not available16. Not available

I have so much to share with you,
all these little things just started to come together at the last moment...
I love when that happens.
I'm going to try something new for the first time
and invest a little money into advertising.
Lollishops has some beautiful ads in well known and beautiful magazines
and while I'm not sure if it's money well spent or not
I decided I would sign up for the Romantic Homes Christmas Ad.
The theme was pink and Aqua~
So what to do, what to do?

I didn't get off to a very good start
I thought it would be fun to try something new apart from my typical fuzzy yarn creations
and I was having so much fun working on these
but then I wasn't!
So I scrapped the idea. Now I have no idea what to do with these gals
They are cute but just missing that magic...
So after a few tizzy fits I decided I would make more Lollipop Lane Cottages.
but alas~ all my christmas doo-dads were traditional christmas colors

So one thing led to another and my oober girly side came out
and Hello Kitty's Winter Cottage was born
It's actually not quite finished...
but I had too show it for the Pink and Aqua Post of coarse.

Oh I just love these little cottages...
but I wasn't quite sure it was quite the right thing for the ad

So I thought to myself...
"what do people who love pink and aqua also love?"
well the answer was simple
or at-lease to me anyhow

yumm right... I think the ice cream cones will turn into tree ornaments
but the cupcake i think it just for play
might be too large to hang
so that dilemma led to the next creation...

Cupcake Keepsake Box!
oh I think I struck gold or at-least pretty glittery pink

Well as you can see I have been very busy
and if you visit my photo album you will see
that I just keep adding to my digital scrapbook
here are just two...
Is'nt just too cute that Jimmy and I have such similar childhood pictures.

Enjoy your weekend sweets!
Hugs~
Chelsea Ann

P.S. these items wont be going into the shop until probably October but if you want to snatch them up quick or have something special made... just drop me a note.
