Up Down and so Happy to be Home

I'm HOME!
Oh I had an
 kind of trip
but I'm so glad I got to visit with my grandparents.
I hadn't seen them in such a long time.
But home is not home anymore
and there is so much I have left behind.
It was a stressful trip to say the least.
I have a lot of emotional baggage
but life is still so sweet and living so far away
AND TIME
helps to heal those painful icky scares!

THANK YOU
everyone who wished me a safe and happy visit...
I received them one by one and they really lifted my weary spirits.

I love this new picture my hubby took of me today.
I love sitting on the counter top... how about you.
It's one of my favorite places to start a conversation or listen to my voice messages.
It's probably a bad habit... but oh-well
I'm holding my favorite cookie jar that my grandmother gave me. I noticed it was missing one day and kind of had a panic attack that she might have already gotten rid of it.
(she's been doing that a lot lately)
But luckily had only made it's way to the basement.
And now it's home with me!

I've finished
I hope these both prove that cuteness comes in more colors than just pink.

I purchased these bright red mushrooms just for this Teacake from Artul Memories

and this preppy little owl just makes me smile.
I imagine he is off to his first day of school.

OH and if you haven't been over to Paper Cakes new blog you are really missing out...
And today you can read an interview about ME!
Thanks Chelsea, You're soooo SWEET!
*Hugs*

Hello Chelsea Anne, I know it can be tough getting back into the work force. I had to do it not that long ago after being a stay at home mom for about 4 years. The insecurities do pop up, but I have learned to give myself a break. I had been and still am surrounded by little girls and everything about having young children, that I forgot to use my Grownup part of the brain. But I am coming out of the fog. I hate talking on the phone too! I don't know why but it causes me anxiety too. Many blessings! You will do great I am sure, look how creative and successful you are!!!! You are an inspiration to me. hugs, Ellen

p.s. I love the picture your husband took of you with your grandmothers cupcake cookie jar! You look so adorable!
