Hello Doll!

Hey Gals!
I have sure missed you all lately
I hope that 2010 is a tad less busy
I really want to get to know you all much better this new year
One fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers is to participate in swaps
I recently did an altered dolly swap with Sandy of of Sandy's Creations
I made her a sweet little ice cream doll
lol well at-least I think she is sweet
at my last craft show everyone thought they were creepy
but I have some fun plans for these doll
but that is for another day...

there is so much I don't know about the world of dolls
but sandy called this a penny doll
If you love all things sweet and pink
you should check out Sandy's etsy shop Distressrelief

Sandy sure did spoil me rotten!
Among my goodies was a petite Blythe
Miss Perfect Paisley Star
she said it was to hold me over until I was able to get my own "big" blythe

Well I must say
while her wardrobe could be a challenge
I adore my little Kaitlynne (her new name)
she is just so wonderfully sweet
and while a little camera shy she can really steal your heart

Poor Kaitlynne was sure lonely this Christmas
so she wrote a letter to Santa asking for a "big" sister
but as we know Santa can only do so much
and not having time to fly over to Japan
he dropped a winning Scratch it Ticket into my stocking
just enough to buy my first doll!

So for the last few days I have been doing quite a bit of research
on what - I mean who I wanted to purchase...
but all the girls I like are still over my price range :(
but then I stumbled upon Pullip Dolls
and it was truly love at first sight
my frustration quickly melted away
so I will be ordering my first Asian Fashion Doll
just as soon as the New Years Celebrations end in Asia
I hope I will not regret not going with a Blythe doll
but I really find the Pullip dolls
to be much better fit to my personality

So who is the lucky doll?

I am soooo excited! I can't hardly wait to start playing with her!
My piggy bank is sure in trouble!
ack! which is not good because my new years resolution is to SAVE!
lol but I told hubby I had to purchase my doll first
he rolled his eyes but said okay :)

well I'm tired and need to work on some chores around the house

I'll leave you with this beautiful song
if your into such music ~

OMG I'm so jealous! I've been wanting a Blythe or Pullip doll for so long, but alas my purse is empty. I'll have to live vicariously thru yours! Enjoy and I do think you made the right decision. ;0)
